Monastery StoreWe started the monastery store at Dai Bosatsu Zendo as a bookstore devoted to Buddhist literature. We have several publications that are available only through us, including three great titles-- a translation of The Book of Rinzai, a collection of talks on selected koans from the Mumonkan, and a reissue of a classic long out of print.Over the years, other items have been added to our store-- incense, statuary, ceramics, cushions, cards, and most importantly, original calligraphy by Eido Roshi. Enjoy viewing these beautiful examples of an ancient art form created by a modern Zen master, whose brush so clearly expresses the inexpressable truth. These works transmit the heart of Zen, bringing the teaching alive in a meeting of art and enlightenment. We are pleased to be able to make these inspirational works of art available for purchase.
